Some people might have seen the previous journal entry, but I changed my mind and I'm not moving to another account after all. I thought that changing accounts would maybe make me more interested in being active on dA, but (although I only had it for a little while) it just caused me more stress than I wanted. Honestly I've figured out that I'm just not that interested in being on dA at all anymore, it's not as fun as it was when I was younger and had "dA friends", I'm only staying because I know a couple of people like my drawings.

But I'm doing way better over on tumblr, where I've gotten to know a lot of people. Posting stuff there is way more fun. I thought about just deleting both accounts, but I think I might keep this one and upload new drawings, but delete or put a lot of old stuff in storage. Maybe I'll use the new one later but right now it's just causing me needless stress and I just don't have a lot of time to spend on dA like I used to. I'll keep uploading new pieces but if you want frequent posting please follow either of my tumblr blogs instead. I'm sorry for the trouble.

I hope you're all doing fine and getting through your exams!  I'm nearing the end of my second semester of art history... hopefully I will survive. 

I'm writing this journal for two reasons: First of all I noticed that I usually get like 10 pageviews per day but the last two days I've gotten close to 600 in total. Did something happen? Did anyone see me being featured anywhere? (I often see people reposting my drawings and I don't know if this is one of those cases, any help would be appreciated).

Secondly I'm enjoying my holiday so far, my girlfriend is visiting and we're doing all the christmas things and everything is cool. However I haven't had much time to draw, but I have a lot of plans for later! First and foremost I wanna draw more Breaking Bad things and I have some Borderlands and Dishonored drawings planned (maybe Dragon Age as well). Basically there's gonna be a lot of games and brba but that's not really a surprise. That is all, I hope you're all enjoying your holiday! 

Hey! I know that I do this a lot (this will probably be the last time), but I just thought I'd remind any new watchers (and old ones for that matter) that if you're interested in games and/or Breaking bad, I run a tumblr blog called SplicerSpawn dedicated to games and shows (and occasionally art) I like.

Besides that, my drawing plans for the future includes some Skyrim, Borderlands, Fallout and Mass effect (I'm pretty much constantly doodling mass effect stuff) and more Breaking bad. Not really a surprise, but now you know. The Skyrim one will be finished pretty soon. Hope you're all doing alright!

Wooow, there's been a long time since I've done one of these, I kinda miss it, haha. :') I'm probably not gonna tag anyone because my friend group on dA isn't as large as it used to be, but thanks so much for tagging!! 1. I'm shit at keeping my dA journal updated, so since the last time I updated, I've been visiting my girlfriend in England for 2 and a half weeks and it's been one of my greatest experiences. Uughhhh she's great. Speaking of girlfriend, our anniversary is less than a month away.

2. I've cosplayed once in my life, and I plan to do more of it. I'm not sure when I'll have the time, but I have some cosplays in mind for the future. (I'm also planning on taking more pictures of the one I already have) I'm also wondering whether or not I'm gonna post more make-up on dA, since people appeared to like the skull thing I did. I practice with make-up regularly, but have so far kept my gallery mostly digital.

3. I usually have very vivid dreams, and sometimes they can help me get over loss or hate. For example, my best friend died very suddenly and I never got to say goodbye. Later, I had several dreams where I met her, and strangely it gave me some kind of closure. I've also dreamt that I've gotten along with people I hate.

4. I can't draw if I'm not watching or listening to something. I also have difficulties watching things without doing something else at the same time (like drawing).

5. I absolutely love interesting faces, and my goal is to be able to portray people with interesting faces, and make it look realistic. I sometimes wonder why artists who are comfortable with drawing the same face over and over again even bother drawing people. The wonderful thing about people is that they can look so different, and it's sad seeing so many artists who don't embrace that.

1.Do you remember when and why you joined dA?

Yeppp, I remember that I joined in 2009 because my internet friends adviced me to. :') It was around the time when I decided to start drawing my own characters for roleplays, and even though this website isn't my favorite, it has really motivated me to improve.

2.How do you spend your time outside Deviantart?

Outside of dA or the internet in general? Well outside of dA I'm active on tumblr, on my main blog Splicerspawn and my art blog Respawnedart. Outside of the internet I draw a lot, hang out with some of my best friends, play video games (usually with my friends), take walks, drink too much coffee, watch horror movies and shows (usually while drawing), make costumes, chat with the girlfriend, etc... I also visit my girlfriend (or she visits me) for weeks several times a year, and I like to experiment with make-up.

3.Do you have any favourite series(any media)?

My absolute favorite tv series is Breaking Bad, I don't think I'll ever like a show more. I think my favorite video games series is Mass Effect, although it has tons of flaws. I still like it a lot. :'D

4.What are your goals for the future?

Right now my biggest goal is to get into art school. Don't get me wrong, I don't think I can get in based on my digital work alone, I tend not to post any of the work I've done with other techniques. Right now I'm preparing by studying art history and I hope to apply next year (aaand if I don't get in I'll just keep applying every year). Another goal is to move closer to my girlfriend so we can visit more often.

5.What countries would you like to visit and why?

For some reason I've always wanted to visit Switzerland. I've read a lot about it, and it seems like a very interesting country. I also want to visit Italy again, the same with England and Ireland.
